Event details
Are you an employer of young people or are you a youth worker that works with young people in an employability programme? Are you aware of how the stressors of first time employment and how these might lead to gambling and gaming harm? Would you recognise the signs indicating that your young employee is using their earnings on gambling? This 1.5 hour webinar designed for employers of young people will discuss concerns and warning signs of on-line and in-person gambling, as well as how these can possibly lead to and exacerbate gambling harms for young people experiencing vulnerabilities and anxieties, from first time employment or a sudden influx of income. We will also discuss ways to build on these areas as part of a conversation and where to find additional support and signposting. The session will be delivered by the Scottish Gambling Education Hub, a Fast Forward project.
